About TMS Treatment
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is FDA-cleared for certain conditions, including Major Depressive Disorder. Mobile Psych offers accelerated TMS protocols modeled after research protocols. Some indications offered — including PTSD, ADHD, and tinnitus — are off-label uses of TMS. Off-label use is legal and a recognized part of clinical practice in the United States, but these specific uses have not been separately FDA-cleared.
Treatment outcomes vary significantly between individuals. Clinical trial results, including those of accelerated protocols such as Stanford’s SAINT trial, are not guarantees of individual outcomes. Eligibility for any TMS protocol is determined only after a thorough psychiatric evaluation. Patients with implanted metal devices, seizure disorders, or other contraindications may not be eligible.
